FM Zarif to attend UN General Assembly on Palestine issue

Tehran, May 19, IRNA - Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Zarif is to participate in and address the UN General Assembly meeting on Thursday on Zionist regime's attacks on the Gaza Strip.

The UN Security Council met four times on the issue and couldn't even issue a statement on Israeli crimes.

The General Assembly meeting on Thursday is to be held at suggestion of Islamic countries.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, who is in Dublin as a part of his European tour, will attend UN General Assembly on Palestine issue.

Opposition of the US with the UNSC's issuing a statement or a resolution, once again showed that the US human rights is just a political game and Washington will never condemn the crimes of the Zionist regime.

Washington gave a green light to Tel Aviv for more crimes with sending $730 million worth of weaponry and repeating the Zionists' right to self-defense. They even count anti-Zionist remarks as anti-Jewish ones. This is while most of the countries try to make the Zionist regime accountable for its war crimes.
